We spend a lot of time sleeping in a tent.  It makes traveling affordable in Europe and North America.  Therefore a lot of research goes into it.

The MSR Mutha Hubba can be rigged as a full-on double wall tent when maximum protection matters or as tarp-fly with or without a floor when it's the ounces that count. A unique pole configuration provides maximum interior space. Two stay-dry entrances and two large vestibules allow storing gear, preparing food, or simply enjoying the view - even in nasty weather.

Total Usage: Slept in the tent approx. for six (6) months including 130 times of setting up and tearing down.

 

Pros: Easy and quick to set up. Lots of room for gear and sleeping area. Very spacious. Perfect for Canada & Alaska (colder climate). Durable.

 

Cons: Heavy and not breathable.  Not suitable for hot climate countries.

 

The Wanderer 4 offers generous headspace and living room. Two large doors, one on either side, admit lots of light and air. One door has a sheltering awning; the other door has a spacious vestibule to provide storage for damp clothing and pets. The vestibule can be rigged with the door either side-opening or centre-opening to adapt it to the prevailing wind or local landscape features. All poles are shock-corded to a centre hub, spider-style, for simple, rapid set-up and loss-prevention. The canopy attaches quickly and easily to the poles with clips.
